Booking & Planning

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings and large events, we recommend reaching out 2–6 months in advance to secure your date. Corporate and smaller private events can often be scheduled on shorter notice — send us a quick inquiry and we'll let you know what's available.

What's the minimum guest count?

We regularly cater events starting around 10 guests. For smaller intimate gatherings, a drop-off or family-style option usually makes the most sense. Reach out and we'll tailor something that fits.

Do you offer tastings?

Yes. For qualified weddings and larger events, Chef Bradney offers a tasting so you can refine the menu. Tastings are typically scheduled after the initial proposal and contract. Ask us about the details.

How does the booking process work?

Submit an inquiry with your event details. We'll reply within 24–48 hours with a tailored proposal. Once you're ready to move forward, we collect a signed agreement and a deposit to lock your date.

Pricing & Payment

How does your pricing work?

Our base rate starts at $17/guest for food, plus a $500+ starting setup and service fee, and a $120 per staff member (1 staff per 20 guests). Specialty sides and veggies are +$3/guest each. Are the prices I see final?

The online calculator gives a starting ballpark. Your final quote reflects your protein choice, menu upgrades, service style, venue, travel, rentals, and any custom requests. Chef Bradney tailors every proposal to the event.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers (ACH), Zelle, and certified checks. Deposit and final payment details are outlined in your service agreement.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due before the event. Exact percentages and due dates are specified in your contract.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms depend on how close to the event date the cancellation occurs and the work already completed. Specific terms are spelled out clearly in your service agreement so there are no surprises.

Service & Logistics

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Moreno Valley and serve the entire Inland Empire — including Riverside, Corona, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino, Temecula, and surrounding Southern California communities. Travel beyond the Inland Empire is available with an additional travel fee.

What service styles do you offer?

Drop-off (we deliver, you serve), buffet (beautiful spread, guests serve themselves), plated (restaurant-style, each course plated), and full-service (our team handles setup, service, and breakdown). We'll help you pick the right fit for your event.

Do you provide staff?

Yes. We scale a professional service team to your event — one staff member per 20 guests at $120 per staff member. Our team handles setup, service during the event, and breakdown.

Do you bring your own equipment?

We bring everything needed for food service including chafing dishes, serving ware, and basic disposables. Specialty rentals (linens, china, glassware, décor) are available as an add-on or can be coordinated through your venue.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Katering Yours is a certified food handler and fully insured, with general liability coverage appropriate for the venues and events we serve. Certificate of insurance available upon request.
